The project
Sawt Al Medina is an independent space for young citizens, promoting social inclusion, women's participation and citizen engagement in an information environment shaped by severe disinformation.
What she did
Nour directed Sawt Al Medina's strategic content production to counter disinformation, and managed a decentralised network of freelance digital creators working across the Maghreb.
Impact
Sawt Al Medina has grown to over 800,000 followers. In 2022 it won Best Trust Initiative at the Digital Media Awards.
