An illustration studio with a tame website would contradict itself. For Studio Kif-Kif, we imagined a site that embraces noise, humour and quirkiness, just like its drawings.

The imagined brief

Kif-Kif is a small studio creating characters, mascots, covers, murals and illustrated worlds for brands. Its clients want a singular voice, not generic illustration. The site had to show that personality right away, then present the projects and areas of expertise.

The idea

Two giant words frame the home screen: "DRAWN" top left, "WEIRD" bottom right. Between them, a colourful skull illustration, like a sticker slapped on a poster. The tagline sets the tone: a studio that draws loud, thinks weird and never plays it safe.

Art direction

A bright cream background, ultra-bold black headings and a marker-pen palette: pink, electric blue, aqua. Host Grotesk carries the copy, DM Mono the small labels, and Shadows Into Light, a handwritten face, adds notes as if scribbled in a sketchbook margin.

Motion

Illustrations react to the cursor, a long list of skills — characters, motion, murals, zines, packaging — scrolls continuously, and some elements openly invite you to click. The site is designed as a playground, where interaction is part of the experience.

The journey

About for the team and mindset, Work for illustrated projects, Expertise for areas of work, Careers for talent, Contact for briefs. Each project is introduced with its context in one sentence, like an exhibition caption.

What this concept brings to a real brand

For a creative, a young brand or a consumer product, this concept shows that a site can be funny without losing clarity. A playful identity, consistent from logo to microcopy, makes a brand endearing and memorable.

Concept: the brand and its brief were imagined by KOYOTEC to explore a creative direction. This is not a client project.
