Mohamed Ali Dridi

Engineer, founder and content creator. I build digital products with KOYOTEC, and I explain tech simply — in Tunisian dialect — to a community of more than 37,000 people.

The founder

Tech doesn't have to be complicated. I build while learning, teach to grow, and create tools that solve real problems.

The story

01 From mechatronics to code

I graduated as a mechatronics, robotics and automation engineer from ESPRIT in 2020. That engineering foundation taught me rigour, but it was computing that pulled me in. After a year of full stack freelancing, I founded KOYOTEC in 2022.

02 KOYOTEC

KOYOTEC is a digital agency delivering creative web solutions worldwide. With the team, we have delivered more than 50 projects for startups, and supported 38 startups end to end as the technical partner of the Westerwelle Foundation across Tunis, Kigali and Arusha. On the infrastructure side, I design cloud architectures that hold under load: Kubernetes, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Terraform, CI/CD.

03 Back to school

In 2024 I went back to engineering school, in computer engineering at ESPRIT, to master machine learning. With one specific goal: building an AI model that can help detect scleroderma early. A project born from a personal story, which I presented as "The Algorithm of Grief".

04 Teaching tech, in Tunisian

Since 2025 I've shared weekly content on DevOps, cloud, software architecture and Linux, on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, and live on Kick. I explain it in Tunisian dialect, to demystify these jobs and help other developers move into DevOps and cloud. I also founded Localhost Community, a support space for IT enthusiasts across the Arab world, now an O'Reilly Community Partner.
