In industrial design, every curve must justify itself. For Acier Carthage, we imagined a site as rigorous as the consultancy's objects: one sentence, one image, nothing superfluous.

The imagined brief

Acier Carthage is an industrial design consultancy creating objects, furniture and products where material dictates form. Its clients are manufacturers and brands. The site had to express this philosophy and make visitors want to explore the catalogue and work.

The idea

A manifesto sentence fills the top half of the screen: "We design objects that carry the weight of their own conviction, where every curve and joint exists not for beauty but because the material demanded it." Behind it, a black-and-white portrait, sober and intense.

Art direction

Black, white and steel greys, nothing else. DM Sans, a clear geometric grotesque, carries the manifesto large and the details small. The absence of colour and the film-like photography convey the consultancy's rigour and standards.

Motion

Images follow one another in slow fades, the manifesto reveals line by line and links respond soberly on hover. The site fits on one page, with a calm rhythm that leaves time to read.

The journey

Three entries top right — Work, Catalogue, About — and direct contact bottom left: "Say Hello", the email address and a link to project enquiries. Everything is reachable without scrolling.

What this concept brings to a real brand

For an architect, manufacturer or technical brand, this concept shows the power of a well-written manifesto: one sentence can sum up a philosophy and convince more than a page of services. The rest of the site can then stay simple.

Concept: the brand and its brief were imagined by KOYOTEC to explore a creative direction. This is not a client project.
