A fashion collection is discovered like leafing through an archive. For Maison Zéphyr, we imagined a site that reveals the pieces one by one, with the slowness of a printed lookbook.
The imagined brief
Maison Zéphyr is a fashion brand standing for clothes made to last, far from throwaway trends. It speaks to customers who care about materials and making. The site had to present the collection, tell the story of materials and process, and make people want to discover each piece.
The idea
A single word fills the home screen: "ARCHIVE", in black capitals on a very light grey. Three values sit in the corners: Permanence, Craftsmanship, Expression. The menu follows a catalogue logic: Index, Collection, Material, Process, Info.
Art direction
Stone grey, linen beige and deep black: the palette of a tailoring studio. A single typeface, PP Neue Montreal, used very large for the title word and small for everything else. Graphic restraint leaves all the room to the photographs of clothes and fabrics.
Motion
Pieces from the collection appear one by one as you scroll, like turning pages. A "000" counter tracks progress, and transitions stay slow so every garment is looked at, not skimmed.
The journey
Index for the introduction, Collection for the pieces, Material for fabrics and their origins, Process for the making, Info for the brand and contact. This structure tells a complete story, from material to garment.
What this concept brings to a real brand
For a fashion, leather goods or homeware brand, this concept shows how to tell the "why" behind the product: materials, making, values. Paired with an online store, that story justifies the price and builds loyalty among demanding customers.
Concept: the brand and its brief were imagined by KOYOTEC to explore a creative direction. This is not a client project.
