In a medina house, you discover the spaces one by one: the door, the patio, the rooms, the terrace. For Dar Zitouna, we imagined a site that follows exactly that path.
The imagined brief
Dar Zitouna is a guesthouse in a traditional medina home. Its guests are travellers looking for calm, authenticity and the charm of Tunisian architecture. The site had to convey the house's atmosphere and lead to direct bookings, not only through platforms.
The idea
Every page opens like a door in the medina. The first is simply titled "Patio", in large serif letters over a dreamy image in midnight blue and amber. The menu follows the house itself: Patio, Rooms, Terrace. You visit the place before you even arrive.
Art direction
A lime-washed off-white, deep black, evening blues and a touch of bright yellow for accents. Instrument Serif, elegant and slightly condensed, signs the headings; Instrument Sans, from the same family, carries the copy. The pair creates a tone both refined and warm.
Motion
Page transitions evoke moving from one room to another: a fade, an image opening, a title appearing. Images breathe slowly, like light shifting through a patio during the day.
The journey
Three spaces, three pages: the patio for the soul of the house, the rooms with photos and descriptions, the terrace for the view and shared moments. Each page can end with a link to booking.
What this concept brings to a real brand
For a guesthouse, boutique hotel or restaurant, this concept shows how to turn the architecture of a place into the structure of a site. Well ranked and linked to a Google Business Profile, this kind of site also helps win more direct bookings.
Concept: the brand and its brief were imagined by KOYOTEC to explore a creative direction. This is not a client project.
