Ice cream is a small joy. For Glacier Bambalouni, we imagined a site that makes you smile from the first scroll, with mouth-watering colours and plenty of humour.

The imagined brief

Bambalouni is an artisan ice cream shop reinventing local flavours with a cheerful, quirky identity — its name nods to the famous doughnut of Sidi Bou Saïd. Its customers are young, families and very active on Instagram. The site had to reflect that good mood, present the flavours and make people want to visit the shop.

The idea

The site opens on a warning: "Scrolling may cause joy". Then an illustrated character in sunglasses appears on a coral background, like a pop culture poster. The tone is set: nobody takes themselves too seriously here.

Art direction

A sorbet palette — coral, peach pink, lilac — on an anthracite grey that makes the colours pop. Barlow Condensed, a condensed typeface in capitals, gives headings the energy of a shop sign. The illustration brings the brand's character and humour.

Motion

Sections change colour as you scroll, like scoops stacking up, the illustration reacts to movement and headings slide into place. The site ends with a wink: "Thanks for scrolling".

The journey

A single page that unfolds like a tasting: home, the brand's world, featured flavours, then practical information. The journey is short and playful, designed for phones first.

What this concept brings to a real brand

For an ice cream shop, café, bakery or consumer brand, this concept shows that a joyful, consistent identity — colours, illustration, tone of voice — creates instant attachment. A site that makes people smile is a site they share.

Concept: the brand and its brief were imagined by KOYOTEC to explore a creative direction. This is not a client project.
