Industrial websites often look alike: site photos, jargon, stacked figures. For Ferrana Mines, we took the opposite route and imagined a mining company that speaks like a publishing house.

The imagined brief

Ferrana is a mining company that wants to change how its industry is talked about. It addresses investors, partners, candidates and the communities near its sites. Its core message: every tonne taken is counted, offset and accounted for. The site had to carry that commitment without falling into greenwashing.

The idea

One sentence fills the home screen: "Ferrana answers for every tonne of ground it chooses to take." Behind it, a field image in dust and fire, almost cinematic. The site is built like a magazine — initiatives, mission, impact, contact — with detail pages for each project.

Art direction

The palette comes from the ore: deep blacks, anthracite greys and a signal yellow borrowed from site machinery, with an earthy orange. Neue Montreal, a sober grotesque, gives the copy a calm, editorial voice. Coordinates, codes and figures are set in GT America Mono, like technical readings.

Motion

Images open slowly, headings arrive word by word and impact data builds as you scroll. The rhythm is that of a documentary: you take time to read one sentence before moving to the next, which reinforces the seriousness of the message.

The journey

The home page states the promise, initiatives detail the field projects, the mission explains the method and the impact page presents measurable commitments. Each initiative has a detail page for investors or journalists who want to go further. The footer opens onto careers, press and partners.

What this concept brings to a real brand

An industrial, energy or logistics company can stand out through tone as much as imagery. This concept shows how a clear editorial structure and a palette drawn from the trade make a technical subject readable and credible, for investors and recruits alike.

Concept: the brand and its brief were imagined by KOYOTEC to explore a creative direction. This is not a client project.
